Happy Wednesday friends! I am excited to join in on the What's Up Wednesday posts again! I joined in for years (click HERE to read tons of fun and happy memories) and then over the last couple of years life simply changed a lot of things as y'all know. As I shared last January (click HERE) the blog was heading in a different direction and I am grateful for all of the love and support over this past year and a half! I am excited to connect with others again in the What's Up Wednesday posts and if you have a blog and would like to join in just answer the questions above!

What We're Eating this Week...
caravan sonnet
Strawberries. And more Strawberries.

While I work hard to get lots and lots of different fruits and veggies into me, I have been striving to enjoy all of the fresh strawberries during this summer season. Let's be real. This is NOT a hardship at all. *smiles*. I shared the other night on instagram stories one of my favorite ways to enjoy them right now (click HERE)! In addition to being yummy there are tons of health benefits which you can read about HERE) and are a great immune booster!

In addition to strawberries we have also been adding a ton of Apple Cider Vinegar into our lives. It is hard to believe that it has been years since I first wrote about the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar! I often get questions about whether or not I still use supplements and still eat as clean as I did during treatment and the answer is a RESOUNDING yes. All during my fight for my health and life I had made it a mission to get and stay healthy. I truly believe what we consume is a huge part of this! If you would like to read an updated post on 17 Quick and easy ways to incorporate it into your life you can rea it HERE

What I'm Reminiscing About...

All the Alaskan things.

If you have been around the blog for a number of years then you may remember that in the summers of 2018 and 2019 I spent time in various parts of Alaskan on two different Alaskan road trips! Both were stunningly beautiful and amazing adventures and I can't wait to be heading back with my mom on a cruise in just three short weeks! You can read all about the adventure we are going to have HERE!

We are heading to the following ports and if you have been to any of them I would love to have your thoughts and ideas on what to see!

Juneau, Alaska
Icy Strait Point, Alaska
Sitka, Alaska
Ketchikan, Alaska
Victoria, B.C. , Canada

Interested in planning a road trip like the one I mentioned? Not sure where to begin or sure how to plan it? What I'm Loving...
caravan sonnet
Being back at camp... all of the beautiful evenings after days of rain... and the beauty of seeing the Lord meet us specifically each day. This summer we are facing huge decisions, looking for huge answers to prayers and miracles and I am grateful to be at this place that is surrounded by so much beauty to have a place of peace and rest to pray and process.

What I've Been Up To...
caravan sonnet
LOTS and lots and lots of creating for the December Caravan shop!! It is hard to believe but next week after the 4th we are going to be putting in back to school items and we are working like busy bees. This shop has so many dreams and plans with it and your support means SO very much. Thank you so much for your support and for purchasing our Key Chain Junk Journals! Each and every purchase means the world to small business owners.

I have also been working so hard on adding tons of new resources to the Caravan Sonnet Teachers Pay Teachers Shop! This shop filled with creative, colorful, and educational high school history, government, and personal finance items has been so lovely to work on. I miss being in the classroom. I really really really miss it. It is literally an ache many times. Creating for Caravan Sonnet Shoppe is truly a blessing and I hope that it helps other teachers who are currently in the classroom right now. If you are looking for these types of resources or know a teacher who is or a homeschool mama please share the link to the shoppe HERE!

Before I leave this topic... I do want to say that I remain speechless at how far I have truly come in this healing process. For the last "What's Up Wednesday" post I wrote (back in 2018!!) I shared that I was studying and studying for all of the teacher certification tests. It is overwhelming to think about those first few baby steps of getting back into the classroom. *tears* At the time I knew it would be a slow journey, but to see where I am now... I am truly overwhelmed. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over so many years with so much love!

What I'm Dreading...
Honestly absolutely nothing. This summer has been a true answer to so many different prayer requests for the last 15 years. Last summer we were dreading my mom's complicated surgery and to see where she is at this year... we honestly just are grateful for each and every moment.

What I'm Working on...
caravan sonnet
Lots of things for the website and the shops (as I mentioned above) but the other thing would be tons and tons of edits and behind the scenes work for the upcoming release of The Opportunity Cost of the Sun Book in December!! I can not believe it will be six months till the release on July 1st!! I am so excited for this book to go out into the world and hope that y'all will find it to be the most encouraging book ever. You can read all about it HERE!

What I'm Excited About...
caravan sonnet
This summer.

What I'm Watching/Reading...
Okay y'all you know that I am not a huge fan of TV or movies (years sick and in bed cures the desire to have that be a focus instantly!) but on some of the rainy evenings we have been watching the adorable series "When Hope Calls" from Hallmark. You can find it on Prime HERE. There is only one season and 10 episodes and we obviously aren't watching all the time since the last month we have been "watching" bits and pieces but it is adorable. Cute. Uplifting and incredibly sweet. You can find it HERE

I have been reading a ton of books here at the cabin and honestly... I am working my way through this one again. I have said this almost at nauseum but there has not been a book that has impacted my faith more over the last 5 years then this book. I need to do an entire blog post on why, but for now, my tender heart will just say that if you are living in a season of broken dreams and spending lots of time weeping... this book is for you. You can find it HERE.

What I'm Listening To...
caravan sonnet
I shared this in my friday favorites, but on my morning walks I have been listening to different sermons and a recent one I listened to from Joel Osteen was on Supernatural ProvisionIf you are looking for an encouraging and uplifting message during a difficult season, this message from Joel Osteen has been incredibly encouraging and I have listened to it on repeat this week!  You can find it HERE!

What I'm Wearing...
caravan sonnet
Lots and lots of pretty and girly summer clothing.... I was at work the other day and my mom snapped this picture of me laughing and having a conversation with a co-worker. This top is so cute but it is older from JCrew but I found this one here that is similar! If you are looking for a cute sleeveless and summery top this one is perfect!

What I'm Doing This Weekend...
We are SO excited to hopefully be putting in our little boat!! Y'all. ALL the emotions. Growing up I spent every single day on the water while we were at the cabin. Grief and loss ... they reach into every single area of life and this has been a major change for us. We are so grateful for all of the help to help make this possible. I am definitely going to keep y'all updated!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month...
caravan sonnet
Cruising in Alaska with this precious mom of mine! We can not wait!!

What Amazon Purchase I loved this Month...
caravan sonnet
Y'all- I have a new favorite purchase from Amazon and it was less than $8!!! They also have over 40,000 positive reviews so I am NOT alone in this! These magnetic hooks are perfect for the home, refrigerator, etc and come in all different colors! We purchased the white ones and have LOVED them. If you are looking for an affordable and cheap organization solution (we used them in our kitchen) you can find it on Amazon HERE!

I would love to know your answers to these questions friends! Share your thoughts below in the comments!!

 Happy Wednesday!
