A Beautiful Morning Walk Along the River // Seward, Alaska

Caravan Sonnet Blog
Happy Wednesday friends! I hope that you are having a wonderful day! Today I am excited to continue recap my Alaskan Road Trip Adventures from 2019. As I have shared, I wanted to do this because I hope that it encourages you to consider taking a road trip of your own this summer to this beautiful part of the world!

Today I am excited to share about a beautiful morning walk that I did at the  Seward Windsong Lodge Property when we stayed! (If you missed last weeks posts about my stay at the Seward Windsong Lodge you can click HERE to find out about the property and HERE to find out more about our room!) After our yummy and wonderful (and large *haha*) dinner at the Resurrection Roadhouse that I talked about earlier this week (click HERE to read) you may remember that I shared that Sue and I decided to take a walk on the property while Emily went back to the room to make a phone call.

That walk was so lovely that when I saw the early morning colors the next morning, I slipped out in my pajamas to go back to the same place and it was simply stunning. (Haha, and Yes, I did break the rules again by adventuring over the bridge once again. Haha.)

In the distance as I walked I could see some of the early morning colors just starting to come forth. It was so beautiful and it was so absolutely still. I was the only one out at that time and it was just lovely.

The way that this one mountain was reflecting into the still water left me just speechless. It was absolutely beautiful.

I am intrigued by the absolute beauty of driftwood. I am definitely a nature girl at heart. *smiles*

After a little bit the colors in the sky started to lighten and then I started to see how the moutaintops were being hit with the sun. As I said above the tops of them looked red as the mountains seemed to come alive with purple colors.

Isn't the reflection in this last shot incredible? The reflection looks like it is not a reflection at all but that the mountain is upside down. *smiles*

A huge thank you to the Pursuit Collection and the Seward Windsong Lodge for the complimentary stay and experience to stay at this beautiful property. ALL opinions are my own.
