Happy Monday friends! Today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite hallmark movies to curl up and watch during the fall season. It is true that Hallmark often focuses on Christmas and the Holiday movies but there are several fall themed ones that are often overlooked and are so cute and adorable. If you are looking for sweet, feel-good, and fun autumn movies to watch this season here are a few of my favorites...
Hallmark Description: A widowed surgeon visits her family’s pear orchard in hopes of taking a break from her overbooked life and reconnecting with her distant son. She starts to fall for the farm manager, Will, who is growing a new hybrid pear and teaches her the importance of her heritage. Stars Jen Lilley and Ryan Paevey.
Y'all I came across this movie on Amazon and I immediately thought it was one of the sweetest movies. I have high respect for both actors and the work that they do outside of acting and to see them in this sweet and adorable movie together made this for an easy pick for one of my favorite hallmark movies to curl up with this autumn. Also... can I just say that a man who loves the outdoors obviously would make my heart smile. *smiles*

I think that this movie originally premiered in the Spring, but it feels like a fall movie to me and I had to include it because it is so cute. Again, I have high respect for both actors and the work that they do outside of acting and to see them in this sweet and adorable movie together made this for an easy pick for one of my favorite hallmark movies to curl up with this autumn. Also... anyone who knows me well remembers all of the notes in bottles that were put into the lake back in my teenage days and well understands why I would love this movie. *smiles*

Y'all this one is simply so cute. It makes you laugh and it really is just a precious story. It was a Hallmark movie that I felt the trailer for it really didn't do justice for it and am so glad that we took a chance and tried it. It really is just so so cute.

This movie had a bit of a mystery with it and is a fun Hallmark movie to curl up with this autumn. It is honestly one of my favorites and I loved the plot and the character development. This family friendly mystery is a perfect one to watch on a cool fall evening.

Happy Friday friends! I hope that you have had the most wonderful week! It has been a busy, quick, long, and short week all wrapped into one over here.
I shared yesterday that we returned home again after ten days away. You can read more in the post HERE, and I just want to say thank you again for all of the prayers for this work trip that I was on. In many ways it was very different than I had expected and there are a lot of things that I am still processing behind the scenes. After ten days away we arrived back at the cabin on Monday. I want to say thank you to all of y'all who have been praying for this work trip. In many ways it was very different than I had expected and there are a lot of things that I am still processing behind the scenes. While I may not share on here all of the details that took place, I will be sharing some things and I do want to say how grateful I am for all of the prayers.
We are settling back in and grateful to be back at the cabin for several more weeks. I love fall, and it is one of my favorite seasons (I think I say this about every season? *smiles*) but it is always bittersweet with the ending of summer and leaving the cabin.
I thank you all again for your prayers and continued ones. This is such a sweet community that I am so grateful for. I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!

If you have been around the blog at all in the last 3 years than you know that I have a shop on teachers pay teachers that I love called Caravan Sonnet Shoppe. It has a sweet beginning story with students encouraging me to start the shop and has been the biggest blessing as it has grown and expanded and is continuing to grow into a full time passive income side hustle that I could never have even begun to contemplate when I started years ago.
COLORFUL. CREATIVE. EDUCATIONAL.
These three words sum up the shop and my teaching resources with the following mission...
Make this the best year yet... an uncommon year with with ready to use cozy luxury teacher resources that engage your students & help accomplish your goals.
These words are the heart behind Caravan Sonnet Shoppe. I believe that personal finance, history, and government are the greatest teacher for students as these subjects provide lessons and real-life examples of how the decisions we make can affect the legacy we leave. I will never stop trying to foster creativity and critical thinking in my classroom, alongside the requirements of test standards. In doing so I believe that this prepares students for not only the present as students, but as a foundation for their lives in college and beyond.
The question that I receive a lot from this community is how can I support the shop- especially if I am not a teacher? This is such a beautiful question and I hope that these tips and ideas will help you support any TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers) store - even if you are not a teacher.
1. Follow the Shop (FREE!)
This is the number 1 thing that you can do to help support a fellow TPT store owner. Simply follow the star and follow the shop. It is absolutely FREE and costs you nothing, but is HUGE for us teachers. Side note: High School Teachers Pay Teachers sellers need this even more than others. It is statistically harder to bring in followers than younger grades. For example: I can have hundreds of sales each month, but the follower count is only in the 40s which can deter some people and hurt future sales.

2. Buy for Friends (LOW COST- Approximately $1-$5)
Purchase educational resources for friends who are teachers, parents, or homeschoolers. Did you know that you can gift people resources? It is simple to do and it is a beautiful gift for teachers! Unfortunately, despite thousands of sales this doesn't help the shop as reviews are the "bread and butter" of what people look at. Share feedback on products to help others and boost shop visibility - even on free products!! You also receive credit when you leave reviews on TPT so it is a win-win for everyone!
10. Purchase Gift Cards (MEDIUM COST- Approximately $5-$20)
Buy gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers and send them to educators in need.

A couple of weeks ago when mom and I went to the farm where we purchase all of our yummy vegetables, we came across a delicious looking cabbage. Immediately, I started craving it and we brought it home and literally ate the whole thing within 3 days! We quickly returned to the farm and purchased more to make yummy salads, coleslaw, and a variety of other things, including chopping up some and freezing it for our fall and winter soups.
Even as I write this now, I am thinking of how sweet it was and how I could snack on some right now. *smiles* I started to wonder though what the health benefits were of this vegetable that I was craving so much of. I was shocked to learn how many health benefits there are and am excited to share with y'all just a few of the many benefits I discovered!
As background, cabbage is a leafy green, red, or white vegetable that belongs to the cruciferous family, alongside broccoli, cauliflower, and kale. Packed with essential nutrients, it's not only versatile in the kitchen but also offers a wealth of health benefits.
