So here are some of my favorites from this past week, including news of a go fund me for my precious mama...

1. Early Signs of Fall in the Adirondacks
Yesterday as we officially welcomed the first day of fall we also started to welcome some early signs of leaf changing too. I love fall in this area of the world and am looking forward to this beautiful new season that we are entering!

3. New Items in the Caravan Sonnet Shoppe
I mentioned this last week but it would be remiss of me to not mention it again. I continue to be so grateful for all of your support of Caravan Sonnet Shoppe! I try to add in new items daily and I am so so grateful for all of your support! If you are not familiar with the shoppe Caravan Sonnet Shoppe provides colorful, creative, and educational middle and high school personal finance and history teacher resources. This is personal finance and history re-imagined for middle and high schoolers and those that teach them. If you are a teacher or homeschool mama or know of a teacher or homeschool mama that teaches these subjects I hope you will take a moment to check out the shoppe! New items are added almost daily and this past week a couple of the best selling items from the shop have been:

It is such a humble honor to sign and ship out Praying through Lyme Disease to so many of you and to Lyme Disease Doctors offices and book clubs around the world. Thank you so much for your continued interest in this little book that has grown, morphed, and flown around the world (in so many different languages!). I am so thankful that it is such an encouragement to you! You can find the book HERE. If you are looking to purchase a set of more than 25 books, please feel to reach out for a discount. My main goal with this book and all of my Lyme Disease and Chronic Illness books has always been to make them the most affordable they can be, not to make a profit. If you are interested in the book and can't afford a copy due to treatment costs please feel free to reach out and I will be happy to send you one for no charge.

If you missed my post from last week, I shared about my precious mom's upcoming knee surgery that is taking place in the first week of October. If you are new to the blog then you may not be aware my mom has waited to have knee surgery as she spent an extremely difficult decade of helping to take care of me in my prolonged battle with Cancer and Advanced Late Stage Lyme Disease, and then our family experienced the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of our father in May 2019. My parents were on the verge of their 50th wedding anniversary in August and this has been the most painful thing for my mom. Then less than 2 years later my mom lost her mom and best friend. As she has continued to heal from these events she made the decision to courageously move forward with having knee surgery as she is in constant pain (NEVER complaining) and has extreme difficulty walking, even with her cane.

This summer we also found out that this surgery is even more crucial as my mom's left knee (which has bothered her for years) has a ripped tendon that is not possible to repair and affects her ability to walk and climb any stairs or steps. This made this knee surgery on her right knee even more crucial so that she can return to a normal life of movement and without pain. Her surgeon is incredible and has given an excellent recovery prognosis.

The approximate cost of surgery (with travel, hotel stays, bills and expenses) is $10000 and today I shared a Go Fund Me Page to help offset those costs by raising $2500. I understand that there are so many people who are going through so many different things so I appreciate your kindness in joining with us to help her. Please share this with those that know our mom or someone you think may want to help and most of all we appreciate your support and love of our family over this last decade and the suffering journey that we have walked.

If you would like to donate you can go HERE to the Go Fund Me Page!

Thank you for stopping by today friends! I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
