The first week of the semester was completed on Friday and already I can see that this will be more precious than last one (if possible). I love this side of the classroom and am loving the light, warmth, and cozy welcoming vibe it has brought to F112 each day. I love the look of the cozy luxury vibe within the classroom and love those fun (and very cheap!) large paper snowflakes!
Honestly though...the best thing though about this space isn't the decorations but the time that I get to spend with incredible people in this place each day. *smiles*
When it comes to the law of attraction, it’s very much a great way of bringing positivity into your life. The things we manifest are often something that we need and want, which in a way, is attainable, but the only thing that tends to stop it is ourselves. With that being said, here are four ways that manifesting can help bring positivity into your life.
It Motivates You
Motivating yourself can be hard because we are our biggest critics in life. We always tend to criticize ourselves harshly for the things we’ve failed at or done badly and instead spend very little time celebrating our wins when they happen. When it comes to manifesting, a lot of the things you want are going to make you happy, and so you want to work hard to get that happiness. If you’re trying to motivate yourself more in life, then manifesting can be a great way to get you there in a faster time.
Motivational goals are always good to have throughout life and so if you’re working towards a promotion or perhaps want to earn more money or make more friends, then manifesting can help with that. It’s something that can aid your motivation as and when it’s needed. And whether it’s saying those mantras in the morning or writing them down on a board for you to look at every day, it’s good practice for bringing everything you need to you in life.
Allows You To Believe That There’s Better Out There
There’s a lot of times in life where we can often feel hard done by. There’s also a lot of negativity and bad times, but when it comes to manifesting, it can be really helpful to do because it gives you the belief in things can be better and can be successful. If you’re having a rough time of it at the moment, then what’s to lose by doing a bit of manifesting every now and then? What’s the worst that could happen?
Helps To Get Rid Of Your Fears
Fears can stop us from achieving things we want in life, and when it comes to manifesting, you’re putting it out into the universe. Whether that makes you fearful or not is beside the point because it may help over time to help see those fears as something less than what they once were. The more you believe in what you manifest, the more the fear is likely to subside or at least lessen to the point where you’re able to take on that challenge or fear head-on.
Gives You Control Of Your Life
Having more control in life is definitely important, so when it comes to bringing more of that positivity, manifesting can help take control. You are the creator of your own path, so don’t like self-sabotage or anyone stand in the way of you achieving your dreams and goals in life.
With all this being said, the bottom line is that the more you can do to inspire yourself in life, the better so start manifesting right now!
Commentators will often talk about the difference between “aging well” and “aging poorly.” But aging is just aging. And as you get older, things stop working as well as they once did.
You can’t do an awful lot to prevent the physical processes from taking place in your body. But there are ways you can re-frame aging and cope better with change.
Learn To Accept Change
When you’re young, you rarely think about getting old. You’re too busy enjoying life and pursuing your objectives to worry about that kind of thing. But as you make your way through subsequent decades, it starts to play a bigger role in your life. All of a sudden, you see how finite your life is, and that can leave you worried.
What’s more, as you get older, things start to change fast. You might not be able to walk up the stairs as easily as you once could. And you may have to rely on equipment, like Coloplast catheters or hearing aids, to support your wellness.
When this happens, it can be easy to let it get the better of you. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Try acknowledging your feelings, expressing them to other people, and looking for the silver lining.
Find Meaning
Perhaps the biggest challenge of getting older is that you no longer have work to distract you from your life’s purpose. During your career, you had to meet your clients’ needs - and that took up the majority of your thinking time. But now you’re done with work and entering your twilight years, these questions have an annoying habit of creeping up on you.
The trick here is to find genuine meaning somewhere in your life. Nobody is going to do this for you. Instead, it’s something you’ll have to find yourself.
You can find meaning in all kinds of places. Travelling, for instance, can give you a new lease on life. You can also pick up on long-neglected hobbies or find a new passion in the arts. One of the best ways to find meaning is to get involved in your community.
Connect With Friends
While you work and raise a family, friends can sometimes fall by the wayside. You’re just too busy and have so many other priorities in your life.
But when you hit retirement, you have an opportunity to live your life much as you did while you were growing up - surrounded by friends who share similar interests to you.
Connecting with friends is especially helpful if you’re living alone. Studies show that people who have positive relationships in old age tend to have superior health.
Get Active
Lastly, being active in whatever capacity you can is a great way to lift your quality of life. You don’t have to hit the gym or run a marathon. Just the act of moving is often enough to improve both your mood and your health. Many older adults report feeling substantially better after going for a walk or spending time in the fresh air.
As I also shared, this has been an unexpected and devastating blow to our mom who has already suffered so much and will also cost a significant amount of money that is truly staggering. She has also been advised that this should be done immediately for the sake of health reasons and the amount of mold.
We understand that there are so many people suffering and in the midst of this start to the new year we appreciate your kindness in joining with us to help her. Please don't stop sharing now as we are getting closer to our goal!!
Happy Tuesday friends! I have been receiving so many questions about daily teaching stories or clothes that I have been wearing teaching and I am truly so humbled by these questions. Thank you so much for your continued interest in this area of my life. I will definitely be sharing more on the blog again as this year progresses, but feel free to head over to my instagram and click HERE on the winter teaching stories to see all of the newest things!
We "started" yesterday with an in-service day and I spent the day transitioning my room from Christmas decor to winter decor. I am excited to show y'all more after today (I wanted to keep it a surprise for the students until they came to the room because there are some BIG changes)!
I hope you have a wonderful day friends! Looking forward to connecting more on that part of IG and hearing your thoughts!
Keeping yourself healthy isn’t as easy as some people believe, but it’s also not as difficult as others think. There is a fine balance that you need to be aware of if you’re going to be able to stay in the best shape possible. Once you have all the facts and know what you’re doing, everything is going to be that little bit easier and you should manage just fine. That’s what we’re going to be talking about in this article, so if you want to know more about the things that you should be doing to keep yourself healthy, keep reading down below.
What You Eat
The first thing that we’re going to mention is what you’re eating. We know that you likely know all about how to eat a balanced diet and the things that you should avoid more often than not, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to do it. This is where the dedication comes in though, because you need to want to make the change or you won’t be able to do it. It’s easy to say that you’re going to eat healthy and watch what you are putting into your body, but a lot of people aren’t going to follow through with this.
It’s not difficult to eat a balanced diet, it just requires a fair amount of willpower. This is especially going to be the case if you’re used to eating processed foods and takeaway all the time. It’s a huge lifestyle change if this is what you do normally, but one that is going to benefit you massively.
Any Medical Help Necessary
Another thing that you need to do is get any medical help that you need. A lot of people don’t want to admit when there is a problem, but doing this can lead to a number of issues for you. For example, if you know that you need to go to physiotherapy and you don’t do this, it’s your body that you are hurting, nobody else. It’s not always what you want to do, but at the end of the day, whatever is best for your body and your health is what you need to do. Leaving yourself to deteriorate isn’t going to help anyone and could end up with you suffering worse than you were before.
Keep Yourself Moving
You don’t want to be a couch potato, so you need to keep yourself moving. This doesn’t mean that you’ve got to hit the gym six times per week, but you need to keep your muscles warm. If you’re not a fan of exercise, a simple walk or swim a couple of times per week will be enough to keep you healthy. It doesn’t have to be a lot, it just has to be often.
We hope that you have found this article helpful, and now have a better understanding of some of the things that you’re going to have to do if you want to keep yourself healthy. Good luck, and we hope that you stay in the best health possible for as long as you can.
