Happy Monday friends! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! Today I am so excited to share with y'all the sweetest altered book journal for spring that was added to the shop this weekend!
This adorable Anne of Green Gables Journal is now available for purchase! (You can find it HERE!)
From the opening pages every detail has been carefully considered.

This drawing in the book just makes me smile- Matthew and his 50 lb bag of sugar! So sweet!
And of course the dress with puffed sleeves!
Such a sweet, sweet memory!
You can find this adorable journal HERE!
One of my favorite scenes is the boat scene!
If you have been around the blog for a while then you know that I love Anne of Green Gables and spent time on Prince Edward Island in a special trip back in 2017 and then returned again in 2019! You can read all about these adventures HERE and HERE!
So this was a bit nostalgic to step back into the Anne of Green Gables world and create this specific book journal, truly became one of my favorites as it came together.
I always love when there is a fun "tuck spot" in the junk journals! This one was so cute to add in!
This beautiful journal is a Spring Lovers dream. Oh and did I mention the size?!? At approximately 6x8 in size it is the perfect size junk journal!
This beautiful altered book journal is the perfect gift for yourself or for a loved one to write down precious moments and save the priceless scraps of time from each day! Thank you again for your support of the shop! It is truly a blessing to my mom and I who run it!

Happy Monday friends! I hope that you have a wonderful day!
Happy Saturday friends! Today I am excited to share that I shared an instagram reel over on IG this morning!! You can watch it by clicking HERE!
I loved the creative aspect of showing the Anne of Green Gables Museum in this way and with this music *swoon*. I am so excited to share more reels from the trip to Prince Edward Island and other travel places over the next few weeks.
In the meantime, head on over to watch it HERE and to see the beautiful Anne of Green Gables house and heritage site!
Thanks so much for liking, saving, commenting, and sharing my IG things! You may wonder why this is important, but as social media is part of my job each time that you like, comment, share, save, or watch something it helps me and I make a small commission which is part of my job. It really is a blessing!

Happy Saturday friends! I am excited to spend the next couple of weeks sharing with y'all some recap posts from the girls trip that I took four years ago through New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia (along with some new posts from this time that I never shared also!)! I hope that it encourages you to consider taking a road trip (in part or in whole depending on your circumstances) this fall to these beautiful places in the world.

Happy Sunday friends! I am so excited to share more about our time on Prince Edward Island! The day after we did "all things Anne" was our final full day on Prince Edward Island. We had confirmed tickets for the Anne and Gilbert Show in the afternoon in Charlottetown and were staying the night over in Cardigan so we made this day a day of exploring the more eastern part of the Island.
After checking out (and sadly!) saying goodbye to Montgomery Inn at Ingleside, we drove approximately 40 minutes over to Dalvay to visit the historic Dalvay-By-the Sea.
The drive over to Dalvay-By-the Sea was absolutely gorgeous. We kept stopping along the way because were just in awe of the beauty of this part of the island.
Honestly, I would love to go back to this section of the Island and stay longer because it was just stunning.
There are so many beautiful views on the Island, but these North Shore views are simply gorgeous. If you visit Prince Edward Island you will definitely want to plan a trip to this area.
Dalvay by the Sea was originally a house that was built in 1895 by a wealthy businessman, Alexander MacDonald and John D. Rockefeller. Alexander nicknamed the house "Dalvay By the Sea" after a childhood home of his in Scotland.
For "Anne lovers" and those visiting the Island to see "all things Anne", you will want to make Dalvay By the Sea a stopping point on your journey. Fans of the Anne of Green Gables movies (and Road to Avonlea fans) will immediately recognize Dalvay by the Sea as the "White Sands Hotel" featured in both of these productions.
Famously used as the place where Anne performs at a recital (in the room beyond the porch in the above picture and the room with all of the windows), Dalvay By the Sea also was seen in the beginning scenes of Anne of Avonlea when she loses her paper sheets all over the dunes with the hotel in the background.
For fans of Prince William and Kate, you may also recognize Dalvay By the Sea.
In 2011 the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Prince Edward Island as part of their royal honeymoon tour and attended an outdoor reception at Dalvay By the Sea and a dragon boat race on the lake.
Without a doubt you will want to plan a visit to this beautiful area and take time to visit this historic site on the Island. If you are interested in finding out more about Dalvay By the Sea, making a reservation to stay or eat at their dining room, or have any questions you can find out more information about them HERE. A quick note- if you choose to visit PEI in certain times in October like we did, please be aware that they will not be open for full time accommodations and their dining room may be closed except for special events. Their in season is from June through the beginning of October and then the off season is in October- May. Again, please contact them if you have any questions!
Thank you for continuing to read about our adventures throughout the recent trip through New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia! A huge thank you to the Prince Edward Island Tourism Board that sponsored my trip to the Island, provided so much helpful information for our time in Prince Edward Island. Thank you also to the staff at Dalvay By the Sea that allowed us to visit the property, take pictures, and see a bit of the inside even though you were closed. It was truly a blessing! I definitely hope to return someday during your "in season" hours!
