Senator's Suite, Montgomery Inn at Ingleside // Prince Edward Island, Canada

October 16, 2021

Happy Saturday friends! I am excited to spend the next couple of weeks sharing with y'all some recap posts from the girls trip that I took four years ago through New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia (along with some new posts from this time that I never shared also!)! I hope that it encourages you to consider taking a road trip (in part or in whole depending on your circumstances) this fall to these beautiful places in the world.

It has been such a delight to share with y'all about our stay at Montgomery Inn at Ingleside this week (you can read more about the inn HERE and get a sneak peak into the first floor of the Inn HERE!). Today I wanted to take a moment to share about the room that we stayed at at the inn- the Senator's Suite.
The Senator's suite was absolutely wonderful. It is located on the first floor of the Inn right across from the dining room area. It is the only bedroom on the first floor.
The room was truly lovely. It is a large room that even included a window seat that you could sit and look out at the surrounding countryside! The charm of having a window seat in the place where Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote some of her books was simply precious. I sat with a book a couple of times in that window seat, over looking the countryside and also dreaming and thinking.
The Senator's Suite includes a private bathroom and has a large closet that was wonderful too. The room can be configured into a King bed, or if traveling with friends it can be converted into two twin beds.
The beds were incredibly comfortable and I loved the soft sheets that were on the beds. Both Ali and I remarked several times about the amazing sleep that we got in this restful room!
The cost of the rooms at Montgomery Inn at Ingleside range from $99-$189 for this previous season. Rooms are available for rent for overnight guests in May, June, September, and October. In July and August you can rent the entire Inn (all 7 bedrooms) for a weekly rental.

In addition to the Senator's Suite there are 6 other bedrooms (including the one that L.M. Montgomery stayed at during her childhood days) that are on the 2nd floor. If you are interested in reading more about those rooms you can do so HERE. I am a bit biased, but I loved the Senator's Suite and would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity. *smiles* If you have any questions about Montgomery Inn at Ingleside, please don't hesitate to contact Paul or Michelle (contact information listed below) as they are truly wonderful and will help to answer any questions you may have!
I truly hope that y'all have the opportunity to go and stay at Montgomery Inn at Ingleside and experience the Senator's Suite. Please let me know if you have any questions and I am happy to answer them!
