Happy Friday friends!! I hope that you have had a lovely week! I am so grateful to spend time with each of you in this sweet space each day. As y'all know, these past weeks...well couple of months have been a bit rough between my mom's surgery and then with me getting the flu and still recovering... it is been a lot. This week is ending with me feeling better, and mom and I finding lots of laughter in the midst of some updates that I will share soon. In the meantime, thank you so much for all of your prayers, support, and love during one of the times I have felt the most weak (physically as well as in many other ways).
I have found great comfort in the verse from Jeremiah 31:25:
"I will fully satisfy the needs of those who are weary and fully refresh the souls of those who are faint"
If you are walking through a rough season right now and the start of the year has been wearisome, I hope that is encouraging to you today!
I have to laugh... while all of us are looking forward to spring I think, we had some days this week in upstate New York that reached the mid 30s and people were out in short sleeve shirts. HAHA. You can see in the picture above that the lake is clearly still frozen, but even I was like lets move down to the uninsulated cabin. HAHA. Meanwhile we are supposed to have a snowstorm today. HAHA.
