Monday Inspiration and Encouragement (Volume Five)

June 5, 2017

I shared a couple of months ago that for a while now I have had a dream of sharing some Monday inspiration and encouragement on the blog. Life is hard and I know full well that in the difficult times it can be hard to find inspiration, so a couple of months ago I shared my first post (which you can find HERE and all of the Monday inspiration posts HERE) and I plan to routinely share with y'all different things that I have found to be really inspiring and encouraging from all different genres and hope that it will encourage and inspire you for your week!
{one} The release of the 2nd edition of Praying through Lyme Disease has been overwhelming and humbling. As I shared in a post on the release date last week, I am so humbled and overwhelmed by the way that this book has been and the fact that it has been translated into several different languages. If you are an aspiring author and have a dream for a niche specific book that you are having trouble getting signed to be published... I can't encourage you enough to consider independent publishing. Run with your dreams and go after it. Your book and story is needed. You are the only one that can uniquely share it.

If you are interested in a purchasing the 2nd edition of Praying through Lyme Disease you can do so where books are sold or on Amazon by clicking HERE. Thank you again for your support of this book. I am truly overwhelmed in the best way possible.

{two} If you haven't already seen the above video be prepared to be amazed. This little girl is simply amazing.

{three} Where ever I live in the future I have decided that I am in love with mountains... and nature. I once heard someone say that some people connect more deeply out in nature. I couldn't have said it better. One of my dreams as I get better is to get back into hiking. I seriously miss it and can't wait to continue to get stronger to do more hiking. What about y'all? Do you love being out in nature? Any plans for getting out more now that summer is upon us?

(PS- These pictures are from my recent stay at the Wildflower Inn which you can read more about HERE. Such a gorgeous place!! If you love the mountains and want to see some of the beautiful scenery in Vermont you must check out this Inn!)

{fourth} My dear friend Blythe shared a beautiful post last week entitled "the terror of rest". I honestly think that so many of us can relate to this post in a hundred different ways. It has truly made me stop and think about a lot of things. You can find it HERE
{fifth}I shared this last time but I continue to receive emails so I wanted to share it again. Since posting the above picture on Instagram in April I have been receiving emails asking what journaling Bible that I use. I use the ESV Journaling Bible (The Interleaved Version). The cheapest that I have found it for was on Amazon which you can find HERE. If you are looking for the non-interleaved version that looks similar you can find it HERE

{sixth} This nursery by Katie, from Hope Engaged is one of the most lovely and sweet nurseries I have ever seen. For all of you mamas to be check out Katie's post HERE on her daughter's nursery. It is simply adorable. (And y'all- side note- I am SO excited that at the end of this month I get to get together with Katie in person!! After years of connecting through blogging my little heart is over the moon excited!)

{seventh} This song above is pretty much on repeat. If you haven't heard it yet I can't encourage you enough to listen to it.
"So let go my soul and trust in Him... the wind and waves still know His name..."

I hope that you are inspired and encouraged by these seven things on this Monday! What about you? What is inspiring you recently?
