caravan sonnet- january 23

January 23, 2026

caravan sonnet- rebecca vandemark Happy Friday friends!! I hope that you have had a lovely and wonderful week! I know I say this every week, but I am so grateful to spend time with each of you in this sweet space each day. As y'all know, these past couple of weeks have held a LOT for us (you can read more HERE) and I so appreciate prayers for my mom as we approach surgery at the end of January. I will be sharing more soon, but in the meantime I appreciate your love, encouragement, and support during this time!

First, I want to say - I can't even believe this and a longer and more comprehensive post is coming later today but Caravan Sonnet turns a "teenager" today... 13 years ago today I wrote the very first blog post... I had no idea where this would go or what would happen or that there are now more than 5.9+ MILLION people who read the blog. I am speechless.

Some of you have been here from the very begining and that picture above of that very first post and I am overwhelmed by that. THANK YOU for all of your support, your love, your encouragement, and most of all taking time to read here everyday. This community is incredible and I am overwhelmed by it... I can't even believe it has been 13 years- the best is yet to come!!

There has been a LOT of special posts on the blog this week and so I wanted to share them here on this special Friday favorites post!

First, don't forget that signups for the Map Letter Club for February end in TWO DAYS!!!! You can click HERE to sign up!

In a post this week I talked more about the Map Letter Club, it's history, and the signficance (especially if you have been around the blog since 2014 when the Parcel Post Club started and I had to end it when I was sick). It is such a full circle moment to see The Map Letter Club become what it is! Thank you so much for all of your support! Don't forget - signups for The Map Letter Club for February end January 25th!!

Second, this week I was so excited to share something new and meaningful that’s been quietly unfolding behind the scenes here at Caravan Sonnet — a project that feels like a cozy extension of our brand and community- the launch of Caravan Sonnet Market on Ebay! Click here to go directly to the Market!

You can read all about the why of this beautiful extension of Caravan Sonnet HERE!!

Third, so many of you have been curious about the journey to becoming a Full-Time TPT seller and I shared the December update of this dream. These updates are raw, honest, and vulnerable as I make this one of my full-time income streams!

It is hard to find people who are sharing what this specific journey is like (or they only share once they have made it to a full-time income stream) so I have wanted to do this in the hopes of encouraging others who may be considering starting a Teachers Pay Teachers store or have one and have felt they don't know if it is possible. I did this in November (you can read it HERE) and then wanted to do this for December which I shared this week HERE

I also shared about 5 NO prep February, Valentines Day, and New Year Personal Finance resources available in the shop in a post HERE!

You can find the Caravan Sonnet Shoppe on TPT HERE!

Fourth, if you are struggling with fighting colds and flus during this winter season, I shared 21 Winter Wellness Rituals to prevent colds and flus this week in the Thursday Health Thought Post! Click HERE to read it!

Finally, an additional post (updated as this is one of the most popular posts from Caravan Sonnet with millions of reads!!) from this week:

I hope that you have a wonderful Friday friends! I will see you back here as always on Saturday, but thank you for making this such an incredible space to come to and connect with every single day. In a world that can often feel cruel and harsh, you make this an incredible blessing!!!

From the Caravan Sonnet Archives
The picture from the beginning of this post was taken in Newcastle, Maine from our New England Winter Road Trip in 2020 (literally right before the world shut down for COVID). The history behind this town encouraged me again this week and I wanted to share it here. You can read more about this beautiful place HERE!
