Praying Through Lyme Disease...the book... RELEASED!!!

November 14, 2014

Even as I am sitting here writing this I am humbly thanking the Lord for His strength in helping me complete this project. This was a book that resonated deep in my heart and was written out of a love for those struggling with Lyme Disease and this journey of walking this difficult and painful path. I started writing this book over a year and a half ago ... writing on slips of paper, napkins, medication bags, etc... and in a variety of different places... in hospitals, doctors offices, the hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions, etc. Finally after several months of writing out those snippets of prayers and precious Bible verses I combined everything into a book that is a heartbeat and passion of mine throughout this illness... praying through Lyme Disease.

This little book is designed with 31 topics that Lyme Disease patients struggle with and verses to meditate on and pray through in times of difficulty and in good days. This book is meant to be a companion and an encouragement to all who are struggling with Lyme Disease and the intensity of their fight!

Well I am SO excited to announce that it is OFFICIALLY released as of TODAY!! You can purchase it in book form or on Kindle and you can click HERE to purchase it!

Thank you so much to ALL of you that have been walking this journey with me in prayer! TRULY you are a blessing!!

With Love,

  8. I too became ill from a tick bite. It was sudden & acute, but a visit to the emergency room & a round of 2 antibiotics got rid of it. I can't imagine feeling that sick for weeks or months. I'll have a good thought for your rapid healing.

    1. Paula, I am so sorry that you had to go through a couple of rounds for antibiotics but I am so glad that you were able to get treated properly and quickly and that you did not have to deal with the effects of Chronic Lyme (or in my case, Advanced Late Stage Lyme Disease). Although I had the bulls eye rash and was treated immediately my original bite happened back in 2007 and at the time there was not as much knowledge as we (thankfully) know now about Lyme Disease and the proper treatment of it. I am SO thankful that we are living in a world where information is becoming more abundant and where people are understanding more and more about how to treat this immediately so that people do not have to suffer with the long term effects. Thank you for your thoughts for healing and for stopping by and leaving a comment.
      Blessings,
      Rebecca

  9. Congratulations. That is so wonderful! This sounds like something I would like to read. My husband is a hunter and told me last night about a tick he had on him. It really scares me! I'm not sure of all the ways to get Lyme disease but I know that's one of them. I don't know much about Lyme disease but I would like to learn.

    1. Hi Jennifer! Thank you so much for your comment. It is true that Lyme Disease can be incredibly scary and definitely is something for hunters to watch out for! If you would like to learn more about it I have a post about Lyme Disease here: http://www.caravansonnet.com/2014/05/what-is-lyme-disease.html and also have a section called "the Lyme Diaries" on the left hand side that you can click on that has some helpful information!
Thank you again for your kind words about the book!! :) Please let me know if there are ever any questions that I can answer about Lyme Disease - it is definitely a passion of mine to share information so that noone has to struggle with this like I have!
      Blessings,
      Rebecca

  12. I've heard about a new ultraviolet machine called the UVLRx that's being used for Lyme patients. It uses a fiber optic thread which is inserted directly into the vein and the treatment lasts for an hour, so all the blood is treated. Has anyone tried this?
