Happy Tuesday friends! As I mentioned here on the blog, mom and I were gifted (for a few days at Christmas) with the most beautiful and lovely stay at Inglewood Cottage in Pennsylvania (see HERE!). This was the most lovely gift and we excitedly looked forward to it for weeks and months. We would only have a couple of days in Lancaster and due to this we decided to leave on Christmas day to drive down to Lancaster (approximately 7 hours away). Prior to checking into Inglewood Cottage we stayed one night at Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.

Due to a fuel leak at our house, we didn't leave for Lancaster until many many hours after we had planned and finally pulled in at approximately 11pm. Y'all we were exhausted and simply weary by the time we arrived. And y'all... the staff and this stay was wonderful

From the moment that I walked into the beautiful lobby at the Lincoln Marriot at Penn Square I felt that I had stepped into a different world. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and warm and welcoming.

Each member of the staff that I spoke with was extremely kind and gracious and went out of their way to make all of their guests feel like they were valued and important. Checking in was easy and quick and finding out that street parking was available (for free!) was an absolute gift.

The Lincoln Marriot at Penn Square is located in the heart of Lancaster and was within walking distance to all of downtown. The location made it quick and easy to get to everywhere and yet, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. We slept so well and it was a lovely evening!

Our view outside our hotel room the next morning was simply stunning. This picture above doesn't do it much justice. I shared pictures on my IG of our room and view which you can see HERE.

Y'all know I love history and so one of the most amazing things about the hotel is that not only does it include amazing architecture, but also includes a preserved section of the Underground Railroad!!!

If you are traveling for personal or business reasons you will definitely find that you feel that you have stepped away from the busy and bustling city and traffic as the hotel property is very quiet, making it a restful retreat away from the hustle and bustle despite being right in the city!

I hope that y'all have found this review of the  Lincoln Marriot at Penn Square helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this hotel! I would be happy to answer them!
