I have loved reading posts by other bloggers that share random personal things about them. To me the ones that have done this make their blogs that much more friendly. I was inspired so last February I started to share fifteen random facts about me and life on the fifteenth of every month. For July fifteenth I am happy to answer questions if there is anything that you would like to know! Just feel free to email me!
1. Some of you have asked how tall I am- 6'2 or 6'3 depending on which doctors office that I am being measured at. *smiles*
2. Somebody asked what my favorite post was from this past month. It would be the one from yesterday. The views over the bay were breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous!{I made one of the pictures my facebook cover!} It reinforced my thoughts that I expressed about the Lord bringing hope in the night.

3. Someone asked what was my favorite link up that I have been apart of? That is really difficult to choose from because there are so many that exist where you can meet and connect with lovely people in bloggy world. I probably am most partial to the petites link up that I started this past month! If you didn't join up with us in May please do on June 24th! I was so delighted to connect with so many other ladies whom I now consider good friends!
4. Yes, it is true. Caravan Sonnet now offers sponsorships!
5. My health is holding stable. I will be having an updated post about my health next week but I so appreciate your prayers and ALL of your support.
6. I do still covet prayers for not only my health but also finances still. Treatments, medications, supplements, and day to day needs continue to be a large financial stretch and so I do continue to appreciate prayer and your support for that need!
7. It is hard to believe that back in February I wrote a post about how excited I was for Kristen's wedding! I had absolutely no idea that my health would continue to decline as rapidly as it did and that I would need to go out to Whitaker for treatment. Due to that the financial resources to go to the wedding were used up and I had been praying my little heart out for a miracle. Imagine my humbleness when the Lord answered that prayer by Kristen's parents giving me a plane ticket and several other people stepping up with other resources. I was overwhelmed by the love and have cried out of gratefulness several times. Thank you so much to the Visy family. I am counting the days till I celebrate with you! {maybe I will even wear this dress... hahaha}
8. Some of you have kindly asked about the book I am writing. I am working on a book that discusses faith during times of crisis and the way that the Lord is ever-present in our lives. My hope is to be finished by the end of June to start the next steps of getting it published! I am truly excited to embark on this new adventure and season!
9. Somebody asked if I (as a former teacher) have "friended" students on facebook or other social media. This is a great question! I had a policy when I was teaching that any student that turned 18 (who was a female and in my senior girls Bible class) could "friend" me while they were still students. Any other student would have to "friend" me after we graduated or after I had left the school. I do not "friend" any student- if they want to "friend" me they are welcome to. The same goes for other social media avenues... {looking at this picture makes my little heart miss teaching SOO much...}
10. I am trying to go back and thank all of my teachers that I have had in the past as I know that it always makes my day when I hear from former students!
11. I was surprised when someone asked what I feed Scamper. *smiles* He is happy with Purina Cat Chow. To be frank I know that there are better things on the market for him, but this is all that he will eat and it makes him very happy.
12. Someone asked why I call my grandmother "Ba". {Honestly, I am still looking for where I referenced that on the blog?? It still makes me feel a little weird that I can't find it... hahaha but...} When I was younger I used to call my grandfather "Pa" and my grandmother "Ba". No one really knows why but it has stuck and my entire family does call her that to this day and I love it. And her. *smiles*
13. The Paper Sonnet is up and running again and I will be adding more things to the shop in the next couple of days! Please check back soon!
14. The story of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea has become one of my favorite stories in the Bible as of late. What a beautiful example of the Lord working miracles during "the long detours".
15. I am so thankful for ALL of my lovely readers and ALL of the comments that y'all make that truly encourage my heart everyday! I am truly a blessed blessed girl in bloggy world! Thank you so much for all of your love and encouragement!

1. Some of you have asked about why I made the decision to share publicly about my diagnosis of Lymes but not what treatment plan I believe is the best. I am happy to discuss the treatment that I am having and share things that I have read but I truly believe (with any diagnosis) that you need to seek qualified medical doctors to discuss an appropriate treatment plan. IF you would like to talk about any chronic illness though and the struggles that come with that I am more than happy to email and chat with you!
2. Disneyland at any age is delightful. Disneyland with friends is priceless.
3. Even at Disney you can be reminded that one day your prince will come but you might have to see alot of toads first.
4. The Lord's strength for each day is simply beautiful. Each day HIS mercies truly are new.
5. Treasured friendships are a gift from the Lord.
6. There are days that I miss teaching so much that my heart literally aches.

14. I am very confident that the Lord directed my path to come to Whitaker Wellness Institute. I truly believed that it has saved my life and has set me up to return home to heal completely. The people here have been incredibly amazing.
15. Thank you to all of you who have donated money so that I could come, the countless emails and text messages that I have received, the numerous phone calls, and the abundant love over these last several weeks. I am truly overwhelmed by your love.

9. One thing that I have learned anew this month is to bless people with kindness and mercy because so many people are struggling. I know that I have been so blessed with a kind word, a card, donation of ad space, text message, phone call, or even flowers. Little and big acts of love go a long long way.

Some of you have asked what my daily blog reads are. There are tons. I mean there are soo many talented people in bloggy world. I do have to say though that the blogs that I keep going back to again and again are because of the respect that I have for the bloggers themselves. Here are just a few that I would highly recommend:
11. Bridget's blog is simply wonderful if you have not discovered it. Simply wonderful.

I mentioned before how I love the ocean. When I was in high school I visited Hilton Head, SC for the first time and I truly believe that was where I first fell in love with the ocean. I had visited the Jersey shore when I was a child and different ocean coasts several times in middle school but it was the Hilton Head, SC visit that sealed my love with the ocean. Last year my sister and I decided it would be fun to go to the ocean for my birthday. We originally started by searching for places along the Georgia coast but the price was to much for our budgets so we turned to Hilton Head and it was a decision that we never regretted.
We went just for the weekend and while it took approximately 5 hours from Atlanta to get there we had a great time! And of course we had to stop at Uno's for a gluten free pizza! (Yes, E's hair was blonde!)
After hours in the car we were so thrilled to see the first signs of Hilton Head, SC.
We stayed at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa and from the moment we pulled up to the property we were enthralled with its beauty. (Just a quick note about the price~ don't forget to use Triple AAA for extra discounts! We saved approximately $45 using this!)
The room we reserved was on the 3rd level right ocean view side(we choose it because of the price) but when we arrived we couldn't see the ocean because of the palm trees that blocked the view. My sister quickly sprung into action and talked to a hotel manager and asked if we could be upgraded to a different room. The manager was delightful and our new room came with a gorgeous view that we enjoyed for the weekend.

The pool area was so gorgeous and we enjoyed spending hours by the pool and in the hammocks that overlooked the ocean.
For dinner we drove to Harbour Town and enjoyed eating by the famous lighthouse.
If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Hilton Head, SC I definitely recommend it and definitely recommend staying at the Hilton Head Marriott. You won't regret it!
I wanted to say a thank you to ALL of you that left a comment or emailed me after Friday's Post. I was overwhelmed with the lovely comments and heartfelt emails from y'all. I am extremely blessed. As I work through responding to each comment and email please know that I cherished each note that you spent time on and sent to me. Thank you!
It is hard to believe that it is not spring yet here in Tennessee. The weather was warm, sunny and beautiful the last couple of days and even provided the opportunity to sit out on the porch to enjoy a meal and sip onsweet tea. (Confession: this southern gal doesn't like sweet tea. Yes, I can hear the comments now *smiles*) The spring beauty is starting to reveal itself and while there are not tons of flowers that have sprung yet there is a beautiful daffidol that has withstood some chilly days to share with us its bright yellow admist the winter brown.
Its hard to believe that in just a couple of weeks I will be up inwarm chilly upstate New York for Spring Break and as thrilled as I am about the warm weather of Tennessee my heart is T.H.R.I.L.L.E.D to be going "home". The beauty of this place calls to me again. I have been going through and spring cleaning my possessions and came across these pictures from a ferry trip at Christmas time. The minute I saw them I was even more excited!

(10th) I admire those that can memorize tons of scripture every day and month. That is not me. I do best when I focus on one verse or a small series of verses and really imprint this on my heart. Psalms 41:23 is the verse that I am memorizing this month.
