This weekend was a beautiful gift as I felt well enough to ride in
the car and take in the gorgeous views of California. What a precious reminder
of God's love and faithfulness despite difficult circumstances.
Yesterday I went back to the medical center to finish test dosing
the last of the meds that I needed to test dose before leaving and thankfully
did not have any severe reactions. The meds were difficult and I was quite sick
but no serious reactions which is a huge answer to prayer.
This morning I am resting as I will be leaving to check into the
hospital at 11:15am (California time) to have my port placement surgery at 1pm
(California time). I am extremely nervous about this procedure as despite
having several surgeries I do not like to be put to sleep and would
covet prayers for peace and no fear.
Thank you for all of your continued prayers for me, for all of
your prayers while I was test dosing meds and also for peace and for a
successful surgery with no complications.
