Custom 1,000 Places to See Before You Die Altered Journal

Happy Saturday friends! How in the world are we at the last day of February?!? Time seems to be flying by doesn't it? I hope that you are having a lovely weekend! I am so excited to share with y'all today a custom order from a couple of weeks ago!
I have said this before, but one of my favorite items to create in the shop are the "altered travel journals". There are different options available including, altered city travel journalaltered state travel journalaltered country travel journal, and a couple of months ago I added the altered 1,000 Places to See Before you Die Altered travel journal.  They are a wonderful keepsake or a perfect gift for all different occasions!
Recently I have received a custom order for a 1,000 Places to See Before You Die Altered Journal for a wedding present! What a great idea to give a new couple!!
This custom order was from Amanda who wanted me to create an altered travel journal for her sister as a Birthday Present. It was a lovely gift for a lady who loves to travel and yet loves her family and home.
Seeing that her sister is in a period of "transition" she wanted to give her a gift that would last a lifetime. It was truly a beautiful sentiment!
As I listened to Amanda describe her sister and her wish for this present I wanted to choose colors that were "whimsical" for her age but also choose colors that were classy and would "grow" with her throughout her life. Due to this I chose a mixture of golds, yellows, blues, and light touches of silvers.
Amanda was a delight to work with! I was THRILLED with the final results and loved this color combination and definitely plan to use it again in the future!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to create this for you Amanda! Thank you so much for your kind words also! You are a blessing!
