Planning a wedding can be super stressful. However, we encourage you to just take a second and think about how happy you are to be marrying the love of your life. Whenever stress starts to get you, think about this and everything else will just fade into the background. Having said that though, there are a few things that we recommend you get sorted as soon as you can, just to make life easier for you down the line. That’s what we’re going to be discussing down below, so if we’ve got your interest, keep reading.
The first thing that we want to recommend is that you get your dream venue nailed down as fast as you can. A lot of venues are booked up months and even years in advance, so you need to get searching and viewing as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. If you have a date set for your wedding this is going to be ideal, because you can’t really book a venue without knowing this. But, you can just wait, see what the venue has available and then choose your wedding date based off of that if you want to. Remember that the venue is going to be the backdrop for a large number of your photos, so you want to get this right.
Catering
The next thing that we want to look at is catering. Now, the food isn’t that important to some people, but it’s important that you find someone who can offer the wedding catering services that you are looking for, with food that you love, and can accommodate the number of people attending your wedding. This can be tough for many, which is why we think it’s a good idea to start looking as soon as you can. Don’t settle for less, this is your wedding day!
Guest List
The final thing that we’re going to be looking at is probably the first thing that you should do, and that is to create your guest list. We’re going to encourage you to throw tradition out of the window and not bother inviting anyone that you don’t want there. This is your special day after all, and you want it to be perfect. Anyone that you think is going to ruin your day, or isn’t going to be happy for you simply should not be invited. It’s a day to celebrate your love, not a day for you to be worrying about who is getting on and who is trying to ruin things on the sly.
So there you go then! These are some of our suggestions as to the things that you get sorted as soon as possible. Of course, your priorities might be a little different and there may be something that you would prefer to have sorted straight from the word go. You can do it in whatever order you like, but these are just the things that we recommend to avoid stress down the line.
