Last week we drove over to Lake Placid and spent several hours on Whiteface Mountain. Our time on Whiteface was absolutely gorgeous with the fall and first frost colliding. I definitely recommend planning a fall drive - it is truly stunning!!

You can find the reel from this beautiful adventure by clicking HERE!

Helpful + Practical Details:
•The drive is 5+ miles and rises more than 2,300 feet
•Depending on your stops along the way the drive can take as little as 10-15 minutes to hours if you want to stop in one or several of the 9 pullout areas (highly recommended)
•Parking at the top can be crowded on high peak days- there is a shuttle that you can take
•You can climb the Alpine Nature Trail to the Summit (not accessible but the elevator to the top is fully accessible)
•The castle at the top has a small restaurant, gift shop, and restrooms
•Amazing views on clear days stretch to Lake Champlain and Montreal and New Hampshire (from Summit)
•Cost: $45 for 2 people - $10 each additional person
