For as long as I can remember I have had a love affair with travel and reading about other places in this beautiful world we live in. Many of you know this, but my favorite TV show is "The Amazing Race" because I love seeing and dreaming of visiting places yet to be discovered. I love sharing about fun adventures that I have been blessed to go on here on the blog and I also love encouraging the special preservation of any trip you take!
One of my favorite posts that I shared with y'all was the European Travel Journal earlier this summer. I am really excited to share soon some new items that will be coming to the shop in the next few weeks that have resulted from inspiration from my travels! Stay tuned! *smiles*

I am so excited to share with y'all today a custom order from a couple of years ago! This Tanzania Country Journal and Small Altered Journal were such a delight to create and remain one of my highest read blog posts of all time so I was extremely excited to share with y'all again!
As I have mentioned before here on the blog, some of my favorite items to create in the shop are the "altered travel journals". There are different options available including, the altered city travel journal, the altered state travel journal,the altered country travel journal, and the altered 1,000 Places to See Before you Die Altered travel journal. In addition to this a couple of years ago I expanded the shop to include the altered city travel journal and small altered travel journal combo, altered state travel journal and small altered travel journal, and altered country travel journal and small altered travel journal combo!
Jessica was so lovely to work with. She was extremely sweet and knew the type of details that she wanted to see in her order.
Jessica wanted to see the colors of teals, blues, greens, yellows, and blacks. She also was specific about some details that she wanted to see in the journal, including places that they would be staying and visiting.
This custom order (from 2016) was from Jessica who wanted me to create an altered country travel journal for a trip that she and her husband were taking to Tanzania.
It was such a special trip for them as they were celebrating their 10 year anniversary at the time and they had also included her father who was turning 70 that year.
As we chatted about the trip I learned that Jessica had grown up spending her summers in Africa and that this was going to be a truly memorable trip for all three of them.
This order was such a blessing and I was thrilled with the final results!!
