Happy Thursday friends! As I mentioned last week, I am excited to spend the next couple of weeks sharing with y'all some recap posts from the girls trip that I took four years ago through New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia (along with some new posts from this time that I never shared also!)! I hope that it encourages you to consider taking a road trip (in part or in whole depending on your circumstances) this fall to these beautiful places in the world.

One of the things that I discovered in researching about St. Andrews By the Sea was the opportunity to literally drive across the ocean floor at low tide to reach the famous Ministers Island.

For approximately 5 hours each day you can reach Ministers Island by driving the approximate 1/2 mile across the sea floor.

After spending time at Kingsbrae Garden we headed about 5 minutes down the road to drive across the ocean floor. It was so cool and one of the neatest things that we did on our trip!

At high tide the ocean floor is covered by at least 14 feet of water (typically way more than this) and so it is only accessible for a few hours everyday.

After driving it we got out and walked around for a little bit, in awe of the beauty that surrounded us.

The colors and the knowledge that we were walking on the ocean floor was overwhelming in the sense that it reminded you how small you are compared to the vastness of this beautiful world.

I hope that y'all get to go and visit- it is such a neat experience and a beautiful place! It is definitely not to be missed!

NOVA SCOTIA:

A huge thank you to the Government of Canada for the recommendation for this visit and the Free Park Pass celebrating 150 years. This and several of our stops were completely free because of this amazing offer.
