Seven weeks ago, I started training for my first walking marathon. I thought I was preparing for the Honolulu marathon. What I didn’t realize was that I was also preparing for one of the most unexpected seasons of my life. After an already difficult year, I wasn’t expecting another huge chapter of uncertainty.
