First, thank you for stopping by my blog an...Pam,

First, thank you for stopping by my blog and taking the time to leave a comment. Second, I am so sorry to hear of your journey with Lyme Disease. This has definitely been one of the hardest things I have ever walked through. I am glad to hear that where things are at with my health is an encouragement- it has been a LONG LONG 8 and 1/2 years with the last four at my parents home where I lost my independence, became unable to walk or eat, and endured several years completely bed bound. My medical team is AMAZING in helping me get to where I am at and setting me up for healing from this disease. The Lord has been so mercifcul and while there are still rough days and I am in the midst of a very difficult treatment schedule, I am also able to accept writing jobs (which is what most of my travel is from) which helps me pay for my treatment. As you are well aware the cost is extremely difficult. If you are interested in a breakdown here is a post that explains a bit more. (https://www.instagram.com/p/BLyfvDHBqNt/?taken-by=rebeccaannvandemark) I keep my go fund me page up as people are continuously and generously contributing which helps me pay for my medical needs and doctors cost and treatment costs. Without my writing jobs, Etsy shop (www.decembercaravan.etsy.com), books, speaking, and the generous support of family and friends I wouldn't be able to be healing. Someday I hope and pray to be able to travel for lots of fun when I am completely healed! *smiles*

It has been an extremely long road (which you can read more specifically through on the "Notes from the Porch" tab) and my heart breaks for you as you are in the midst of this fight also. I will be praying that the surgery helps you and that this is the beginning of a foundation for healing. Thank you so much again for stopping by- I hope that you will be able to stop by again and keep me updated on how you are doing and how the surgery goes! Praying for you!

Blessings,
Rebecca Caravan Sonnethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17225941007248198346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4065602349484224616.post-11550886258343837862016-12-13T23:48:20.494-08:002016-12-13T23:48:20.494-08:00How wonderful for you that life has turned around....How wonderful for you that life has turned around. I just found info about you and traversed through your various web pages, well the one that was up and running. I too have Lymes disease and when I read about your needs on your gofundme page and the little info on your meet me page I was not expecting to find you out and about traveling. What a wonderful turn around in life circumstances! Lymes disease can be brutal. I've been walking through the darkest valley of my life because of this disease. Home bound for over two years I am looking forward to surgery after the first of the year so that I can walk again. I am emerging spiritually much richer in my relationship with my God and I'm trusting God to bring me out of the darkness physically. It's encouraging to see someone whose life sounded so down and desperate become so much richer in improved health. Glad you can get out and travel so much now. pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08741559479032449072noreply@blogger.com
